BULLOCK PRAYER LETTER

Summer 2010

Dear Friends, Supporters, and Prayer Partners,

Here we are in the midst of summer once again.  The Fourth of July is right around the corner and the next thing we know, school will be starting.

Our church continues to search for a permanent meeting place. We are so thankful that we’ve been able to meet at the local Senior Center ever since having to leave our building in March.  It’s close and convenient, but we are unable to have our piano there as well as our other supplies. Please pray that a more permanent location will open soon.

We have started a Sunday School program, with the adults studying “Basics for Believers” with Tim as the teacher, and the children being taught by Debbie.  We are hoping that we can attract some new children with this program (and eventually their parents) and also that the new believers will be strengthened in their faith.

We had a wonderful Vacation Bible School with Dan and Lisa Hadik.  The theme was “America’s Amazing Inventors,” and we saw several children (besides our own) from the community attend.  We were blessed that Grace Baptist Church in Hastings also brought young people from their church on three nights.

This summer we’ve enjoyed a college ensemble that ministered to us, as well as a missionary family traveling through the area.  The Lord continues to provide fellowship just when we need it.

On a personal note, the boys are preparing exhibits for the county fair (leaf and twig collections as well as various posters).  They are also involved in the library’s summer reading program and are enjoying such classics as Caddie Woodlawn and On to Oregon. School will start the third week in August, so they are enjoying the last few weeks of “academic freedom.”

• Souls to be saved
• Spiritual growth of church                                                                                                                                               
• Our family’s health and safety (we had a number of accidents in June resulting in visits to the doctor.)
• New meeting location
