I am a native of Lockland, OH, outside of Cincinnati.  God saved me in May of 1978 and I was immersed shortly thereafter.  I married Debbie in October of 1995.  Debbie was raised in a pastor's home in New Freedom, Pennsylvania and was saved and baptized as a young person.  She attended Bob Jones University where she earned both her undergrad and graduate degrees. She taught English for 13 years from 6th grade - college freshman.  We adopted Michael and Timothy from Kharkov, Ukraine in 2001.

  At a missions conference in Michigan in 1990, the Lord called me into the Gospel ministry.  The Lord led me to attend Ambassador Baptist College in NC, in 1991. I graduated in 1995 with a Bachelor of Biblical Studies with an emphasis in Missions.   I was licensed to preach in December of 1995 and then ordained to the work of the Gospel ministry in November of 1996.   I pastored 5 years in in NE and WV. We were teachers and I was the principal of a Christian School for two years in Pennsylvania before coming to Geneva.

God called us to plant Geneva Baptist Church in 2006.
